while i was stationed in new zealand, we had this issue where all the water at the outpost kept turning thick? tracked it down to a liminal parasite carried by some of the local wildlife that was jumping ship to researchers, who were then congealing every liquid they came in contact with. ruined a lot of experiments. [...] anyway, honestly, I'm not sure whether seeing everything or having to drink thick water is worse.

thanks. real waldinger behavior, huh? [...] it's honestly less weird than I expected.
yeah, I know what you mean. bet the prospect of missing out on the Food Here coleslaw played a small part. I've been [...] out of it. something in particular causing doubts, or just the, y'know, continued mess?
you got stockholmed by a mole, man. [..........] sorry I didn't check in on you sooner. could've saved you from getting too attached to one of our little all-seeing pals.
